Thick fog stops flights, ferries

About 60 ferry trips and twenty flights were cancelled yesterday due to the thick fog that covered the territory.
The mist was caused by a low pressure centre and a humid front that are affecting Macau, the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) told media.
The lack of visibility led to the cancellation of ferry trips linking the MSAR with Hong Kong and mainland China, as well as flight departures from the local airport.
The fog is expected to fade today, the SMG added.
