Warning against consuming ‘Man Power’
Following Hong Kong Health Department’s notice, Macau’s Health Bureau has urged residents not to consume the product “Man Power” that contains a chemical called “tadalafil”, which is not stated on the labelling.
Tadalafil, a prescription drug used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence), should only be consumed by people with a prescription. Adverse reactions of this drug include low blood pressure, headaches, vomiting, dizziness and blurred vision. It may also interfere with other medications (for instance nitroglycerin) thus decreasing blood pressure to a dangerous level.
