New issue of Sino-Western Cultural Studies

The new issue of the “Journal of Sino-Western Cultural Studies” has been published by Professor Lei Heong Iok at the The Sino-Western Studies Centre of the Macau Polytechnic Institute (MPI).
Focusing on “Sino-Foreign History of Literature Interactions”, this special issue has indexed 13 related articles, including “Seeking a Modern Chinese ‘Intellectuals’ - Translation and Reception of the 20th Century Chinese Literature in France” by Qian Lin-Xin, “Passing on the Heritage of Translating Literature in the Easter Europe - Lu Xun and Sun Yong” by Lin Wen Shuang, as well as “Casus of Literature: Wang Guo Wei and the English Literature” by Ge Gui Lu, among others.
Additionally, there is a column of “Chinese Literature Research” with three articles, including “Liberalism: Apprehension and Holding Fast - Analyse the Latter Half of Lao Se’s Life” by Fan Yi Hao and “Old Tradition and Deep-Rootedness of Countrymen – Impossible Comprehension of Lao Se’s Customary Novels” by Cui Ming Fen.
The issue also covers a commentary article on “The Position and Action of Macau as the Catholic Church made her Eastern Advancement” by Lee Yu-Chung.
