Chinese philanthropists gather in Macau
China Philanthropist Network Roundtable (CPN), an organization composed of the most famous entrepreneurs and philanthropists from mainland China, is holding its first meeting in Macau on December 30, at Venetian Macau. This group will focus on the theme of “Our Homeland”.
The credibility of philanthropy, the social responsibility, the philanthropy ideals based on land, and the pursuit of a better homeland to live, with the aim of strengthening the communication and sharing among cross-strait entrepreneurs who are committed to philanthropy will be the topic of the roundtable.
As the associated event, the CPN Charity Gala, with the theme of “Harmonious World, our Beautiful Homeland” is to be held at MGM Grand Macau that night.
Many of the well-known entrepreneurs and celebrities across the strait will be present and Faye Ho, tycoon Stanley Ho’s daughter, will donate ten auction pieces. All the funds raised throughout that night will be donated to ANIMA (Society for the Protection of Animals Macau) for protection of abandoned and abused animals in need.
Meanwhile, two other events will also be held in Macau, of which Real China 2009 taking place at Venetian Macau from December 30 to January 1, marking the first luxury property exhibition of mainland to be held in Macau.
At the same time, Pet Paradise Cotai Macau – the National Charity Dog Racing Game will be held at Venetian Macau as well. This event will include fund raising activities to benefit ANIMA.
