To promote local soccer games and develop soccer players of a high calibre, the Junior Soccer School will hold a recruitment day on Sunday at the mini soccer field of Macau Olympics Complex.
Candidates’ technical skills such as ball handing, quick-strike ball handling and shooting for goal will be assessed and scored by coaches.
The school aims to recruit 350 members for male and female classes. Females of any age can try out but male classes will be split into age groups. Class A must be born between 1996 and 1997, Classes B1 and B2 must be born between 1998 and 2001 and Class C must be born between 2002 and 2004.
Those who are interested should bring id cards, wear sportswear and sports shoes when they audition. Registration will be between 2 pm and 5 pm.
The admission list will be posted on December 4 on the Sports Development Board and the Macau Olympics Complex, Mong Há Pavilion.
The Junior Soccer School is patronised by the Macau Jockey Club, and is jointly organised by the Macau Sports Development Board and the Macau Football Association.
