Wynn says police retirement fund lawsuit is “recycled”

Following media reports that Steve Wynn and other directors of Wynn Resorts Ltd. face the renewal of a Louisiana police retirement fund lawsuit alleging a USD135 million donation to the University of Macau breached fiduciary duties and wasted company assets, Wynn Resorts issued on Wednesday the following statement: “This [the Louisiana Fund amended suit] is simply an attempt to recycle a complaint that was previously dismissed by a federal judge. We will defend vigorously and expect it to meet the same fate as its predecessor - dismissal.”
