CE debates Forum Macau meeting in Beijing
The fourth ministerial meeting of the Macau Forum, to be held in Macau this year, topped the agenda of the meeting between Chui Sai On and the vice-minister of Commerce, Mr Jiang Yaoping. During the meeting held in Beijing the Chief Executive stressed that the Forum that brings together China and the Lusophone countries is celebrating their tenth anniversary and, in his opinion, brings advantages and business opportunities to China thereby fulfilling the role of Macau as a platform. Another topic debated with the vice-minister was the food supply to Macau during the Chinese New Year. The Chief Executive was also in Guangzhou, where he met with the Secretary of the Communist Party Guangdong Provincial Committee, Mr Hu Chunhua.
