84,000 visitors during opening night
According to Sands China Ltd., over 84,000 people visited Sands Cotai Central during the first six hours of its opening. “An outdoor crowd of more than 5,000 people watched the 5pm opening celebration at the porte-cochere of the Conrad Macao, with queues extending over 400 metres around the building. After doors opened, the first 12,000 visitors received a gift of a golden ingot featuring a limited edition lucky dragon charm,” describes a press release issued by Sands. In total, Sands China says their properties welcomed over 200,000 visitors last Wednesday.
