North Korea experts on the TDM Talk Show
Brookings Institution US scholar Jonathan Pollack and International Relations Professor at the University of South Wales, Chinese academic You Ji are on the TDM Talk Show tonight to shed some light into the erratic North Korean black box. Just around two months ago, Kim Jong Un was proclaimed North Korea’s Supreme Leader at his father Kim Jong Il’s funeral. There’s little known about this very important man. The young and inexperienced Kim is now in charge of one of the world’s most oppressive and secretive states. At his disposal is the world’s fourth-largest military, with an estimated 1.21 million armed personnel along with a ballistic and nuclear capable arsenal. To make matters worse, North Korea has displayed an increasingly provocative behavior towards its neighbors. The show will air at 9pm tonight.
