Sheraton Macao Hotel recruiting staff for opening in September 2012
Sheraton Macao Hotel, which plans to open in September 2012, has announced a large-scale recruitment drive for the local market from March 2 - 4. The 3,863-room Sheraton Macao Hotel will be both the largest hotel in Macau and in the over 1,000-strong portfolio of hotels and resorts globally owned by the company.
Located in the center of Cotai Strip, Sheraton Macao Hotel forms part of the Sands integrated resort complex. According to a press statement, the hotel will be set over two towers with access to over 20,000 square metros of flexible meeting space and is a good place for large-scale association, meetings and incentive groups and events of all sizes. Recreational facilities include a Spa, three pools surrounded by 12,000 square metres of deck space, as well as fitness and kid’s entertainment programmes.
In order to provide a preview of Sheraton Macao Hotel, the signature Xin restaurant, Cotai Strip’s seafood hotpot restaurant, will launch in April 2012. Other dining options include Bene Italian restaurant, Feast all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge, two poolside cafes and a roof lounge, offering a variety of outdoor ways to relax and dine. Josef Dolp, Managing Director of Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central admits to be “proud to be part of the vibrant and fast-developing Macau community.”
Sheraton hotel is the largest brand within the Starwood family. It is now seeking to employ talented Macau residents, offering work access to a global network of hotels, training and development programs and employee benefits. “Hiring the right candidates is crucial to our mission to deliver the world-class service for which Sheraton is globally renowned. As such, we’ll be undertaking a series of mass local recruitment fairs, the first of which will be from March 2 - 4 to meet with potential candidates at all levels. We’ll also be recruiting in Macau’s universities to find high potential graduates to train and develop within Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and the Starwood global network.”
