Chief Executive plants a tree for Macau
Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On attended the World Tree Planting Day activity in the Small Taipa Hill yesterday.
The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau hoped to encourage locals to go green in their daily lives through the activity so that in a long-term Macau can become a “green city”.
The tree planting activity was one of the programs of the 29th Green Week of Macau held between March 20 and March 28. The bureau will also hold a variety of events in Cotai including another tree planting in Estrada do Dique Oeste and to beautify the hoardings around the Cotai ecological protection zone.
