Galaxy to recruit 1,000 local workers
Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced on Tuesday the details of a mass recruitment fair that has been planned for the development of its project in Cotai – the HKD 14 billion flagship Galaxy Macau.
This Saturday’s recruitment fair, open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, targets local construction workers and talents from related fields only.
“As a good corporate citizen, GEG is committed to localization and over the years, the group has made significant progress in creating many employment opportunities for Macau citizens,” said Ms. Eileen Lui, Director of Human Resources and Administration of Galaxy Entertainment Group.
“The Recruitment Fair is an ideal platform for us to identify local professionals and talent to meet our current construction demands and we hope that this event will help us bring over 1,000 local construction talents to the GEG family,” she said.
Human Resources personnel will conduct onsite interviews at the construction site of Galaxy Macau and the results for employment will be announced within two working days.
Complimentary shuttle buses will take interested candidates from different major areas in Macau peninsula to the onsite recruitment center.
The Galaxy Macau is scheduled for opening in early 2011 and will include over 2,200 rooms, suites and villas across three hotels – the five-star Galaxy Hotel, the Banyan Tree Hotel and Resort and Japan’s Hotel Okura.
