The demand for Muslim schools comes from parents who want their children * safe environment with an Islamic ethos.Parents see Muslim schools where children can develop their Islamic Identity where they won't feel
stigmatised for being Muslims and they can feel confident about their faith.
Muslim schools are working to try to create * bridge between communities.
There is * belief among ethnic minority parens that the British schooling does not adequatly address their cultural needs. Failing to meet this need could result in feeling resentment among * group who already feel excluded. Setting up Muslim school is * defensive response.

State schools with monolingual teachers are not capable to teach English to bilingual Muslim children. Bilingual teachers are needed to teach English to such children along with their mother tongue. According to * number ** studies, * child will not learn * second language if his first language is ignored.

Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual
Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. Muslims have the right to educate their children in an environment that suits their
culture. This notion ** "integration", actually means "assimilation", by which people generally really mean "be more like me". That is not multiculturalism. In Sydney, Muslims were refused to build * Muslim school,
because ** * protest by the residents. Yet * year later, permission was given for the building ** * Catholic school and no protests from the residents. This clrearly shows the blatant hypocrisy, double standards and
racism. Christians oppose Muslim schools in western countries yet build their own religious schools.

British schooling and the British society is the home ** institutional racism. The result is that Muslim children are unable to develop self-confidence and self-esteem, therefore, majority ** them leave schools with low grades. Racism is deeply rooted in British society. Every native child is born with * gene or virus ** racism, therefore, no law could change the attitudes ** racism towards those who are different. There are hundreds ** state schools where Muslim pupils are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be designated as Muslim community schools with bilingual Muslim teachers. There is no place for * non-Muslim child or * teacher in * Muslim school.

What a shameful to see that you (the author of this news) made into usage the words coming out of Mrs. Sidney Jones.

She works for tackling Islam, thus she does only view Islam from the perspective of Western, not from the Muslims' perspectives.

I am an Indonesian Muslim so I do really-really understand how the real Indonesian Muslims views on their religion.

Any misunderstanding about Islam does actually emerge - or is created - by those who get funding from the Jewish Anti-Islam under the patronage of Bilderberg and of course, Zionism.

So let me give you a suggestion in writing a report on Islam.

There is no place in modern society for a stone age religion like ISLAM. A religion with enshrined discrimination against females, intolerance against other non-moslems, and a belief in stone age values. Christianity went through the same phase a millenia ago but ISLAM hasn't evolved with the times. If anything, ISLAM is more entrenched in stone age violent beliefs than ever. The use of murder as a tool to uphold belief in ISLAM has no place in modern society.
If ISLAM were such a compassionate religion, Explain why the vast majority of hot spots in the world are tied to Islamic fanaticism ?

Iftikhar how dare you, the problem with Islam and Muslims is their willingness to live and flourish in the places that they dont belong all the time like Western and Eastern secular socities! You accuse Christianity of hypocrisy? I accuse your insane prophet Mohammed of blasphemy to the dignity of civilized nations! The solution to this problem is a ban on Muslims living on a secular or Christian dominated lands, the evil of multiculturalism is Islams frontline weapon, Islam is a religion that will not tolerate Buddhism, Christianity on its sight so what would you expect for us to do submit to dhimmitude no way. Get out of Thai society and go to your mosques where all of you belong! The violence of Islam and Muslims will be destroyed by the civilized countries of the world! No to Allahu akbar!

How dare you Irfan Melodic for attacking Macau Daily Times you have no credibility to match the fairness of this newspaper! Macau times daily is better to read than the Quran or faith in Islam because it provides information needed for clean living unlike the Quran which is more of a tool like toilet paper! Dont come to Macau you Muslim Islamist you are not welcome especially your Kaffir Mohammed! Inshallah!
