Auto Fair’s fifth year generates  HKD 11 million in vehicle sales

The 5th Auto Fair organised by The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, at CotaiExpo from January 5 – 8 attracted thousands of visitors and buyers.
This year, ten local automobile companies participated in the four-day show, displaying over 200 second-hand automobiles for sale. Sixty-six automobiles were
sold, generating over HKD 11 million in sales. Total visitation increased by 5 percent to 5,362 over the previous year.
Representatives from the participating automobile companies said that “The 5th  Auto Fair serves as an excellent platform for them to showcase their cars and for buyers to find their dream cars all under one roof”.
This year’s exhibitors included Mok’s Wagen Automobile Co., Ltd, Che Vong, Kam
Long Motors, Ieng Fung Automotives, Kin Heng Long, Fai Fu Motor, Hong Le, Teng
Long Car Industry, New Son Wo Motors and K Speed Motor.

 

MGM Volunteer Team gave out their hand-weaved scarves to the elderlies of Centro de Dia “Brilho da Vida”

A thousand of weaved scarves sent to 4 Charities 

MGM Volunteer Team bestowed their hand-weaved 1,050 scarves to four Charity Organizations including Centro de Dia “Brilho da Vida”, Fu Hong Society, Service Center for the Deaf and Associacao Pro-Deficientes de Macau, on January 11, in an event with coordination of  the youth group of  Associação Juventude Voluntária de Macau.
The event was for presenting their warmest care to the elderlies and disabled, and fulfilling the Volunteer Team’s commitment made in its 1st Anniversary on July 21, 2011.
On that day, dozens of MGM Volunteer Team members visited and presented gifts to 20 elderly people living alone at Centro de Dia “Brilho da Vida”, while taking the opportunity to clean their houses and show care for them.
‘MGM Volunteer Team will continue to send their kindest love and care from MGM Golden Team to the needy ones, and to give back to the community’ the company said in a press release.

Galaxy Macau wins third “Best Resort” Award

Galaxy Macau was recently named “2011 Best Integrated Resort” at the Top Travel Awards, a leading programme organized by professional travel industry publication Top Travel Magazine. During the awards ceremony in Beijing, Raymond Yap, Senior Vice President of
International Premium Marketing Development for Galaxy Entertainment Group stressed  that “this is a wonderful honor to receive. Galaxy Macau was built to offer things that had never been seen in the market before”.
Top Travel magazine is an authority in mainland China on travel and travel-related news and trends. Over half a million copies are distributed in travel agencies and airlines. The 2011 Top Travel Awards were voted on through a survey of 100,000 readers and industry professionals in China outbound tourism.
This is the third major travel award for Galaxy Macau since it opened on May 15, 2011. Most
recently, in August 2011, the resort was named “New Hotel of the Year” at the 2011 Travel Weekly China Travel & Meeting Industry Awards.

 

Late night service at new CTM NAPE store

The eighth CTM Shop began full service on January 7, making CTM  the first telecom operator to open a shop in NAPE, according to the company’s press release.
Apart from offering “one-stop service for customers, the CTM NAPE Shop also provides electronic copy of promotional leaflet and E-Catalogue, which significantly reduce paper consumption”.
Vandy Poon, CEO of CTM said that “in addition to offering high quality telecom services, CTM will continue to expand its service network and enhance service quality in order to satisfy the increasing demand of our customers for quality service.”
“Coping with the development of local tourism, the CTM new shop will enable us to further extend and improve our range of customer services to NAPE accordingly. In the future, we will continually provide residents with comprehensive and innovative telecom services by enhancing our overall service quality,” Vandy Poon said.
The NAPE shop opens from 11 am to midnight, hence “becoming the first telecom retail shop to provide service at night”. Bill payment service is available from 11 am to 8 pm, Mondays to Saturdays (except public holidays). 
CTM NAPE Shop is located on the G/F, No. 42, Rua de Bruxelas, Macau, with a total area of over 4,000 square ft.

 

CEM launches new e-Service portal

CEM launched a brand new e-Service portal at www.cem-macau.com on January 7. With this e-Service customers can create and manage their contract profile by adding, removing and editing the electricity contracts anytime, anywhere.
The portal enables a thorough look at electricity bills with latest balances, the past 13 months’ consumption records and consumption comparisons. Customers may also change language in their bill statement and bill mailing address.
Customers can also manage a change of contract name and meter size, check their request status online anytime and choose to apply for paperless e-bills.

Laisee envelopes

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, CEM will present exquisite Laisee envelopes (20 envelopes a pack) to customers. These Laisee envelopes adopt a small envelope design and feature an eco-friendly open-style seal instead of the self-adhesive one “in a bid to save paper and encourage citizens to reuse them” the company said. 
Customers who apply for any services or settle payment at CEM’s Macau Customer Service Center at Estrada D. Maria II (office hours: 9:00am to 5:45pm from Monday to Friday) or Taipa Customer Service Centre at G/F, Lai Chun Kok, Supreme Flower City (office hours: 10:00am to 7:00pm from Monday to Friday) are entitled to a pack of Laisee envelopes. Each customer can get one pack every time and the Laisee envelopes are available while stock lasts.
